Obama, unlike Romney, is actually listing HOW he'll attempt to help this boy. Romney just said that he'd assure that he'd have a job. He never stated precisely how. Obama, on the other hand is proposing ideas that can actually go into effect because they're specific.

Obama is more "presidential". He sits down when the debate begins. Romney gets up, like he has a stick up his butt or something. He also wastes his time with Thank Yous and personal stories for too long when responding to the college student's question. Only at 23 seconds left, Romney begins getting to the point. He still fails to explain how he'll provide jobs for the student after college. Obama, on other hand, gives many answers to the student's question. Both Obama and Romney make eye contact with the student.

I agree that Romney is more engaging - however; Obama carries himself like a gentleman. Romney attacks like a bully. His back is constantly to the audience and his hands are always flying at Obama, while Obama speaks directly to the people. Romney always needs the last word. He's too hasty to be the last to speak. It's not a trait the people need in our president.

He also want to make sure there are jobs and will create more jobs. Obama answered the question not like Romney.

The math doesn't add up. Then, he tries to defend himself by attacking Obama by saying that he raised the money deficit. One, Obama didn't simply raise the money deficit; he inhereted that problem when he entered the presidency. Two, this is irrelevant to the question the mediator asked him.

Romney is pushing for an "incredibly" strong economy to help women to get good specialized jobs but never really states how he is going to do it. However Obama appears more "presidential" connecting with a personal story of his mother's education and how he has pushed for school grants that will help students, especially concerning women to get the equal education and job opportunities. Obama has clear cut solution to get equal jobs opportunities for women, Romney solution is to get more women to work for him to appear like he cares about the issue.

Romney is finally expanding on his 5 point plan, not his 1 point plan, as Obama calls it. And he's highlight how he is different than Bush. This is important because because this undecided voter brought up the fact that she's disappointed by the lack of progress made over the last 4 years, but she's concerned about Republican power because of the Bush administration.

I'm so proud of Obama tonight. He understood his flaws in the last debate and worked on them. He's now stronger in his arguments because he realized his weaknesses and tried to fix them. On the other hand, Romney is still acting the same immature way he did in the first debate. He's still interrupting others and being unseemly rude. Romney is incapable of calling out his flaws and attempting to improve them unlike Obama. I'd rather vote for someone who realizes their mistakes and works on them rather than ignoring them.

Mitt Romney is now answering the question from the man who asked why things were still so expensive and the economy not better. Mitt Romney is reciting all of the promises of the Obama adminsitration that were broken and about the high employment. This is an effective answer because he is really bringing out the failures of the adminstration.

Well, it's because they come here and work for dirt cheap, so of course we would hire them. But they are able to work for dirt cheap because they come here illegally and have babies which become citizens, and they collect all of the benefits. So that's why they are able to do that. This is why we should try and prevent illegal immigration, Cherish.

the Gun control policy of Obama is really necessary. there has been too many instances with crime raising unbelievable. The enforcement and background check should be tightened to help our society become safer. But, Romney wants to change the culture. His view is conservative of ideas of marriage. I don't see this as an effective way to reduce violently. Sometimes parents don't have the opportunities to monitor their kids 24/7. Romney's idea is too abstract.

Obamas policy for gun control was much more cohesive than what Romney babbled about. He started talking about schools, which was good, you have to educate young people. (And his great state of Massachusetts and its awesome schools.) But then he went on about single parents and poverty and a bunch of malarkey until the moderator had to restate the question. Obama stated clearly about the 2nd amendment and reducing violence.

It doesn't seem as important to me that an assault rifle is banned or a hand gun, both can be used improperly in the hands of criminals, or drug lords and kill as many people as any gun really. But I like Obama's policy for furthering not only an assault gun ban but promoting awareness of gun responsibility in younger people.

Obama is more "presidential," because he defended himself whenever Romney said something against him, but he didn't talk aggressively to him. Obama called Romney on the China relations saying that Romney set up outsourcing jobs to China. Obama also, focused more on Romney's policies in order to show how much he contradicted himself, for example the increase in coal production where Romney wanted to shut down an oil plant because it killed people. In all, it's noticeable that Obama did a lot of research and practicing for this debate-not saying that Romney didn't either.

The debate is pretty interesting. I like that the Presidents can walk around because you could better see their body language. The policies depicted in the debate are more concrete and informative unlike the last debate where there was just babbling from both sides. The President answers the oil price question very strongly. His agenda to create self-efficient power sources instead of using coal and natural gas seems like the best for the future; however, Romney paints a more frank picture. We need oil now, and if there are restrictions being implemented to close up and not open oil and natural gas lines in North America than gas prices will raise. Obama is more affirmative in his voice, and he's attacking Romney, but Obama needs to calm down because he's coming off as a little to demanding. Romney, on the other hand, is attack the policies of Obama. Romney has a strong idea when it comes to taxes. From what I understand, Romney wants to lower taxes for all incomes while discontinuing taxes on interest and capital gains for the middle class. This seems like an idea that could go for both the middle class and the rich, but what's faltering is how we're going to make up for the loss of income coming in for the Federal government. I don't think that closing loopholes and deductions against the rich is going to make up for a lower tax rate or opening deductions for the middle class. There is just too much of a difference between the two groups in income. It would be plausible to do what Romney wants if we have equality between the top 2% and the 98%, but that just isn't the case. I think that if Obama took some of Romney's ideas than he would have a stronger economic policy. From what I saw, I think Obama wants to increase taxes on the rich, lower spending, and keep the tax rates as they are right now. If Obama would instead begin giving deductions to the middle class and taking away deductions from the rich, than I believe he could be bringing in revenue while keeping his tax plan. However, to increase the tax on the rich is futile. Many of the rich have built up their own industries and companies, and some of them won't be able to run a business if their are taxes increase. What's more important is getting the money that the rich have made back in this country. There is just so much lost in revenue when the rich export their cash overseas, that we could repay our deficit by being able to tax that money, and all the while, we could leave the tax cuts from the Bush era, and we might be able to sue Romney's plan on creating deductions for the middle class. Overall, pertaining to taxes, Romney's plan is stronger, but it would be better if Obama worked with Romney because his ideas could really work. Romney is defending his ideas very strongly. When Obama recap the 8 trillion dollar increase in spending Romney kept his demeanor and replied calmly. I think that Romney looked like a President there because he wasn't being flustered by statements that could and could not be true. I think that the moderator, Candy, is a little pro-democratic because Obama gets the last say a lot, and Romney is left without a way to reply to some of the more personal statements Obama makes against Romney. Obama seems to be on a more personal level in his 2 minute speech by always saying something about Romney and his past work as governor, which doesn't seem very presidential.

On the issue of immigration I feel that the Arizona immigration law is absurd and disgusting because no one really goes up to a white person and asks "are you a citizen" a Hispanic person would look more as an immigrant because they simply are not white and the boarder is so close. To create a law that would violate many Hispanic people who do a lot for this country, and in many cases more than white people, would be a degradation on the American Country who look like xenophobic racists. Obama's plan for immigration seems like a very good policy because he's allowing many immigrants to gain citizenship and to have a good life in America, but his plan considering illegal immigrants is shady because he doesn't state how he will take care of illegal immigrants. Now Romney has a plan of forcing illegal immigrants to be bombarded by rules that forces them to eventually leave the country because of the disabilities forced on to them, but that would hurt the children they have because some might be born in this country. What is very amusing aobut this issue is that many illegal immigrants are pursuing jobs that are not college or high school level, instead their taking these jobs that pay less and that which Americans don't want to do, so it would be best to help those people keep their place in America, but help them gain their citizenship. While many of these immigrants are giving back to the country and are being rewarded with citizenship, we need to stop letting illegal immigrants in and allow a greater amount of visas to be given to those who do the process legally. This could help people who need a new life and a change to be given that chance.
